The Scrapbook pages for the Northern Lights school newspaper and the Etchings in Thought literary magazine allowed you to display scanned images of the original documents. You may want to download all those images to your own computer to read later. Below are links to do that.
Each of the downloads is structured as a .zip file, which is simply a container for several other files. On most computers, if you double-click on the .zip file you have downloaded, it will be unpacked into a folder containing the individual files it contained. You can then view the page images with any image viewer program you have, including your web browser.
Download the Northern Lights page images in the file NorthernLights.zip.
The individual files in the Northern Lights download are named for the issue number and the page number. For example, the file named “n1p1.jpg” contains the image of issue number 1, page 1. The Special Election Issue did not have an issue number, so its two pages are in files named “nXp1.jpg” and nXp2.jpg”.
Download the Etchings in Thoughts page images in the file EtchingsInThought.zip.
The individual files in the Etchings in Thoughts download are named for the page number. For example, the file named “p1.jpg” contains the image of page 1. The file “cover.jpg” contains the image of the cover.
